An Open 40 brought to the Maine Yacht Center for an extensive rebuild, we provided new standing and running rigging, including new Kevlar cap shrouds, updated high-tech halyards, lashed life-lines, and continuous loop code 0 furling lines. With an emphasis on the equipment being lightweight and incredibly strong (for example no turnbuckles were used onboard), ingenious ways were thought up to solve the strength-to-weight issues.
